Although the example here is a fairly literal rings logo, the use of a ring or multiple rings in logos is fairly common and takes many shapes. Take the logo of the Olympic Games or car maker Audi for example. Typically the ring or rings in ring logos symbolize continuity or infinity. Interlocking rings can also be used very effectively to symbolize interaction or partnership. In this example the client wanted all of the above but also wanted recognizable wedding rings.
