CARTOON LOGOS DEFINED
Cartoon logos are logos that usually contain a cartoon character or characters of some description. Anything goes. Characters can include anything from dogs to accountants.
Typically the character depicted in the cartoon logo is chosen to illustrate something about the character of the company.
A dog is great for a vet supply logo. For an IT company, an athletic-looking robot might be perfect.

BUT CAN IT WORK FOR YOU & YOUR COMPANY?
It probably can.
There are exceptions. A funeral home should not go for a cartoon logo.
But the exceptions are very few. If it can work for an accounting firm...
Let's take a serious topic. A community organization such as an organization tasked with community health, can use a cartoon character in their logo to cast off their serious, stuffy image and appeal to a much broader audience. More importantly, a cartoon logo can be used to create a sense of well-being and optimism where it might not previously have existed.
In a pure business setting, cartoon logos excel at rising above the noise. Especially in very competitive industries, small advantages over the competition can often be the only difference between those companies that make it and those that fade over time.

BENEFITS OF CARTOON LOGOS
- Cartoon logos are the most memorable of any type of logo.
- A well executed cartoon character can change the way that customers and prospects view a company and its operations.
- By automatically becoming the company mascot, a cartoon character creates a much stronger team environment within the company.

DRAWBACKS OF CARTOON LOGOS
- Cartoon logos can be expensive. You should be prepared to spend about 3 times more than you would on a regular logo. Cartoon logo prices are normally $800 and up. Any less than $800 and you could end up with a poorly executed, computer generated attempt at a cartoon.
